Ryan Klinefelter advises ad-tech and mar-tech companies on M&A and strategic financing transactions. A seasoned corporate development executive with over 20 years of global experience leading M&A, Strategy, Finance, and Operations at start-up through public companies.
Based in San Francisco, Ryan has executed high-priority build, buy, partner projects that shape an organization’s future. He has formulated long-term company growth strategies, implementing high-impact projects, scaling up cross-functional and external deal teams, and ultimately positioning companies for a well-timed, successful exit.
Ryan was Head of Corporate Development at Bolt where he managed M&A across the company’s E-commerce investments. Some of his notable roles have been leading Corporate Development functions at Vungle, Smaato, and blinkx, and closing 13 global transactions. Ryan is an expert on Adtech, Martech, E-commerce, Digital Media, Identity/Privacy, and mobile gaming industries. He has worked across most finance functions from CFO to Partnerships.
Ryan is currently based out of San Francisco and has lived and worked in multiple cities including Beijing, Singapore, Hamburg, London, New York, and Madrid. He holds an MBA from the IE Business School, and BS from USC Marshall School. His latest passion is advising seed stage startups.
