Rajesh’s thirty years of broad operational experience in semiconductor, system, software, SAAS, AI and fintech industries spans engineering, marketing, sales, business development, operations, compliance, intellectual property, and M&A. He is well connected to the start-up Venture Capital & Accelerator eco-system and is currently mentoring several exciting start-ups. Rajesh has been widely acclaimed for revolutionizing the worldwide landscape of computing, graphics, gaming, and video industries. In the mid-nineties, he invented and evangelized Unified Memory Architecture (UMA). UMA is credited for bringing down PC costs, the broad adoption of consumer gaming, and is the backbone of over 80% of all computers shipped worldwide today. In 2003, Rajesh created the Sun-AMD alliance that drove the evolution of enterprise computing to high performance 64-bit architecture. In late nineties, Rajesh worked across technology and movie industry to solve DRM issues in digital distribution of audio/video content, chaired several DVD standards committees and played a key role in wide adoption of digital audio/video content distribution both in physical and streaming forms.
Prior to Woodside Capital Partners, Rajesh was CEO of Verient, a venture backed Fintech company that he founded and successfully sold to Global Payments. He was an EIR at Stanford Research where he honed his AI skills. Rajesh held senior executive positions at Sun Microsystems and ATI technologies where he created start-up business units, grew them exponentially, and ran multibillion-dollar P&L. He started his career with Intel and earlier in his career he spent over 3 years working in Israel where he acquired fluency in Hebrew. Rajesh lives in Los Altos Hills with his twin daughters and is on the board of Town of Los Altos Hills Pathways.
