Alain's Bio
Alain is a hardware, software, and service industries expert bringing decades of experience of successful value creation to each company he works with. Prior to WCP, Alain amassed extensive experience in multiple verticals, including datacenter, consumer electronics, communication infrastructure, automotive, and spatial computing. His strategic insights have been instrumental for semiconductor, embedded software, optical module, and XR companies, helping dozens of companies navigate complex business landscapes.
Alain previously held significant roles in general management, global sales, and product management at both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, including LSI Logic/Broadcom and Altera. His track record includes transforming engineering-focused start-ups into global commercial entities and managing large business units within public companies. Alain was also an early partner at Silicon Catalyst, the world’s only incubator focused exclusively on semiconductor solutions.
Originally from the Paris area, Alain relocated to Silicon Valley in 1996. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and a Master of Science in solid-state physics from Universite Claude Bernard. His career reflects a deep commitment to technological innovation and strategic business development.
