Palo Alto, CA – March 27, 2017
Rudy Burger, WCP’s Managing Partner, will be speaking about automotive sensor venture and M&A activity, at the Automotive Sensors and Electronics Expo 2017 on June 14-15 in Detroit, Michigan. Rudy will provide an overview of recent deals, trends, and developments in the automotive sensors market segment. He will address the major market drivers of safety, security, and driver support, in particular, sensors for ADAS applications. Most of the major automotive OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers are looking at acquisitions and strategic investments as a means for driving growth in this area.
The emerging ADAS market has produced a significant number of financial transactions (venture and M&A) involving automotive sensing and vision systems. His talk will examine some of the recent high profile deals in the sector, emerging trends, and the likely winners and losers in the industry. Rudy will focus in particular on companies and transactions in the LIDAR, radar, and camera (visible and IR) markets. He will also discuss the likely impact of ADAS on the traditional automotive supply chain.
