Woodside Capital Partners International LLC, a global, independent investment bank, announces two new research analysts, Matthew Hoffman and Al Zilinsky, have joined the Woodside Capital Partners (WCP) research team. “Matt and Al are experts on some of the technology industry’s most important market segments including cloud infrastructure, data storage, the Internet of Things (IoT), and connected cars and devices” said Sam Skinner, Chief Operating Officer of Woodside Capital Partners. “When combined with our existing research analysts, we believe Woodside’s research team has the type of Information Technology (IT) backgrounds and Wall Street experience clients expect when seeking industry and sector expertise.”
Matthew Hoffman
Matthew Hoffman joins Woodside as a Managing Director and analyst covering the mobility-centric IoT, connected vehicle and devices space. Hoffman’s research at WCP will be rooted in his IoT industry experience including his recent role as VP of Strategy and Marketing for BlackBerry’s BTS (BlackBerry Technology Solutions) division and early-career positions at wireless giant Ericsson and Gartner Group.
Prior to Blackberry, Hoffman worked for 15 years as an equity research analyst for Wall Street firms including Mizuho as an Executive Director and Research Analyst, SG Cowen/Cowen and Company as Managing Director, and Moors & Cabot as SVP and Technology Analyst. He began his Wall Street career at SoundView Technology Group, where he was ranked as a top ten analyst in the wireless telecommunications equipment category. Al Zilinsky
Al Zilinsky joins WCP as an Analyst covering Cloud and IT infrastructure including hardware, software and the Cloud ecosystem. At Woodside, Zilinsky will be providing insight on products and services from AMZN, MSFT, VMW, PSTG, NTAP, IBM, HPE, EMC, CTXS, CVLT, RHT, RAX, GOOG, CSCO, NMBL and others. Zilinsky has more than 31 years of IT consulting experience focused on storage and data management gained via his time as a senior client executive with two large Microsoft solutions providers and a large IBM business partner.
Zilinsky brings extensive knowledge on the cloud, hybrid cloud, virtualization, storage solutions, hyper-converged infrastructure, data center infrastructure and networking topics to Woodside. He is a specialist in technical solutions regarding cloud (AWS, Azure, RAX) and other Microsoft and AWS professional and managed services.
